Betty’s Blog

Good Morning,
As some may know, my breakthrough book The Bull Rider’s Heart is now published and available for sale at https://www.amazon.com/bull-riders-heart…/dp/BOCL5NKQLN Please feel free to purchase the book and don’t forget to leave me a review. Let me know what you think of my story about Cash and Lyndsey. I’m hoping you like it and look forward to the next book which should be out around the first of the year.

Nanowrimo has finished and I finished my 50,000 words in the month of November. YEAH…wasn’t sure I would be able to complete the task, as I was sick for a week and didn’t feel like writing. I’m feeling much better and ready to continue writing.

What I would like to do is to offer a receipt when I send out my blog.

Hi Guys,
Well Fall is definately here in Colorado, the trees are beautiful at least two weeks ago they were. But, from what I hear, we are due some snow on Saturday. The poor Trick or Treaters might have a cold go of it this year again.

I am just learning this Blog thing, so please be patient with me. Just wanted to share some good news with you all. I now have a published ebook on Amazon called The Bull Rider’s Heart the print book is soon to be published. If I can figure out how to upload the picture of the cover I will include it in this blog, if not a later one for sure.

Next month is Nanowrimo, always a fun (?) month of writing 50,000 words in one month. I always just shut myself in my office and write, with occasional breaks. It is a chance for us authors to buckle down and write. I have outlined my book and so far it looks to be a fun book to read as well to write. I will include a sneak peek when it is closer to being finished.

Until next time be safe,
Betty Derr May

You’re Never Too Young Old To Learn

I’ve taken the time to work on my web page. I thought I knew something about setting one up, but I quickly found I didn’t know as much as I thought.

With the help of WordPress and BlueHost, I’ve been able to get a page up and presentable if not perfect. I will continue to tweak the page to make it more entertaing.

Yesterday, two of my sons, along with myself ventured out to do some fall fishing and take in some of Colorado’s clean air. We didn’t catch anything, but we did enjoy the company, talking, and watching the boats on the lake. I was surprised at the man who was kayaking on the turbulent lake. I wouldn’t have done it even if I could.

Until next time don’t do anything I wouldn’t.
